The agreement

Terms of Service

Effective September 11, 2026

The short version. Jordy Care is a private tool for holding a family’s continuity-of-care information. It is not a doctor, a lawyer, or an emergency service. You own your information, you are responsible for your account, and by using the Service you agree to the terms below. Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel online at any time.

Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Jordy Care, LLC (“Jordy Care,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account, requesting a scholarship, or using the Jordy Care website or application (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

What Jordy Care is

Jordy Care is a tool that helps a family record, organize, and share the knowledge needed to care for a loved one with a lifelong disability, so that a future caregiver does not have to start from scratch. It is a place to keep information. It does not provide care, supervision, or professional services.

Not medical, legal, or professional advice

This is important. Jordy Care helps you store and organize information, including health information. It does not provide medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and nothing in the Service is a substitute for a qualified professional.

Who can use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into this agreement. If you add information about another person, including the person your record is about, you confirm that you have the legal authority or the consent needed to provide and manage that information, for example as a family member, guardian, or holder of a power of attorney.

Your account

You create your own account. If you are invited into someone else’s care circle, the account owner decides what you can see. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for activity that happens under your account. Please tell us promptly at info@jordycare.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission. Do not share your password, and do not let anyone use your account who should not have access to the record.

Your information and content

The information you put into Jordy Care belongs to you and your family. We do not claim ownership of it. You give us permission to store and process your information only as needed to provide the Service to you, for example to display it back to you, to power the features you use, and to keep it secure. We do not sell your information, and we do not use your private record to train public or third-party AI models. You can export or delete your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

When you use Jordy Care, you agree not to:

AI features

Some features use artificial intelligence to help you work with your own record, for example to answer a question or to suggest an entry from something you dictate. These features extract and summarize; they do not diagnose and they do not decide. What they propose is shown to you to accept, edit, or reject before anything is saved or acted on. Because AI can make mistakes, you remain responsible for reviewing and confirming anything important. See our Privacy Policy for how the AI provider handles your content.

Third-party services

We rely on trusted providers to host the Service, store data, deliver email, process payments, and provide AI features. We are not responsible for events outside our reasonable control, including failures of these providers, but we choose them with care and will act to protect your information if a problem arises.

Availability and changes

Jordy Care is still growing. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may need to interrupt the Service for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. We do not promise that the Service will always be available or error-free. We will try to give notice of significant changes.

Plans, trials, and billing

Plans. Jordy Care is offered on one paid plan, Care, billed monthly or yearly. The plan covers you and two other people in your care circle; each additional person you add is charged at the per-person rate shown on our Pricing page, and your bill changes from the next billing date after you add or remove someone. Current prices, and what the plan includes, are on that page. Concierge Coaching is a separate, one-time purchase, not a subscription.

Free trial. Your first plan starts with a 14-day free trial, and you don’t need a card to begin. If you add a card during the trial (in Jordy Care, under Settings, then Billing, then Manage billing), your plan continues and your card is charged when the trial ends. If you don’t, the trial ends, you are not charged, and you can choose a plan again whenever you like. There is one free trial per person: if you have had a Jordy Care plan before, a new one starts without a trial and is charged the day you start it.

Automatic renewal. Once a plan is paid, it renews automatically at the end of each month or year, and we charge the card on file for the next month or year, until you cancel. Your card details are held by our payment processor, Stripe, never by us.

How to cancel. You can cancel online at any time: in Jordy Care, open Settings, then Billing, and choose Manage billing. You can also email info@jordycare.com. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the month or year you have already paid for, and it does not renew.

Refunds. Plan payments are not refundable, including for the unused part of a month or year, except where the law requires a refund.

Price changes. If we change a plan’s price, we will email you before the new price applies to you, with enough time to cancel first if you choose.

Plan limits. Each plan includes an amount of storage and a monthly Jordy AI allowance, shown on the Pricing page and in Settings. The allowance counts everything Jordy AI does for your care home, including reading uploaded documents, and it starts again on the first day of each month. When it is used up, Jordy AI pauses until then, and the rest of Jordy Care keeps working. When storage is full, you can delete files you no longer need, and you can write to us about more.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent allowed by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors, or that any information or AI output is accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose. You use the Service, and rely on any information in it, at your own discretion and risk, and subject to the professional-advice limits described above.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jordy Care, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred United States dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

Your responsibility

You agree to be responsible for your own use of the Service, including the information you add and your confirmation that you have the authority or consent to add information about another person. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to cover losses we reasonably incur because you used the Service in a way that breaks these Terms or the law.

Ending your use

You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your information. Cancelling a paid plan stops future payments, but it does not delete your record: it is kept, and you can return to it by choosing a plan again, unless you ask us to delete it. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are broken, if it is needed to protect the Service or the people in it, or if we are required to by law. When access ends, the sections of these Terms that by their nature should continue, such as the disclaimers and limitation of liability, will continue to apply.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and Jordy Care agree that the state and federal courts located in South Carolina will have jurisdiction over any dispute that is not otherwise resolved, to the extent permitted by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. If we make a significant change, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, let you know. If you continue to use the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
